For years Connie Gholson has been showing Cairn Terriers in the conformation arena at AKC (American Kennel Club) shows. In 2008, she switched to Rally Obedience.
Rally Obedience is a new AKC event described at http://www.akc.org/events/rally/getting_started.cfm. Rally Obedience has three levels – novice, advanced and excellent. Their dogs Cali and Lucy are in training for advanced now and Havana is in training for her novice title.
Connie and son, Lee, train and show the dogs while Jim assists at events. Active members of the Fremont Dog Training Club, Connie and Jim welcome dog lovers to get to know them better.
